Private University 

Private universities in Malaysia is also steadily gaining reputation for the high quality  and wide range of courses with international accreditation.  In further improving their standards,  local private universities in cooperation with foreign universities would offer "twinning programs" allowing the students to continue part of their education as well as receive the qualification upon completion of program with the  partner university abroad.  

 Public University

Public universities in Malaysia are funded by the Government and are governed as self-managed institutions. They offer a wide range of courses with some highly specialized programs in  medical and science fields. Most Public Universities would have at least two intakes in a year and have stringent  admission screening process.
